Roger MacKenzie (played by Richard Rankin) and his wife Brianna (Sophie Skelton) were left beside themselves with worry in the latest episode of Outlander after it transpired their son Jemmy (Blake Johnston Miller) had been abducted by Rob Cameron (Chris Fulton).
The couple only discovered something was wrong when their daughter Mandy (Rosa Morris) awoke from a bad dream to confirm something had happened to her older sibling.
Roger and his ancestor Buck MacKenzie (Diarmaid Murtagh) raced to Craigh na Dun only to find Jemmy's scarf there but no sign of the child or Rob.
The storyline in the Starz series has been taken straight from Diana Gabaldon's seventh novel An Echo in the Bone and those who want to know how the book plays out can carry on - but for those who wish to avoid spoilers, turn back now.
In the book, Roger and Buck go back through the stones to rescue Jemmy, while Brianna and Mandy remain in the 20th century at Lallybroch.
